Tree of Life Resort & Spa Jaipur

Tree of Life sits in a valley between two Aravalli ridges, five kilometres off the Delhi–Jaipur highway, opposite Le Méridien. The resort describes the property as 14 luxury villas on seven acres, about a 30-minute drive from Jaipur city and 21 minutes from Amer Palace. Built from sandstone, lime and local stone in a traditional Rajasthani style, each villa is named after an Indian flowering tree, with interiors that echo the tree’s flower colour.

Its character is quiet rather than grand. Villas have domed bedrooms, private gardens and outdoor couples’ spas, and the pool villas have their own lawns and pools. Around them are a bell-shaped infinity pool set between two ridges, an organic “Eternal Garden” that feeds the restaurant, a small temple beside the Ganesh Abode with a collection of more than 100 Ganesh statues, and an open-air sit-out called Serene on the Ridge with valley views.

For weddings, the appeal is privacy and setting rather than scale. The resort publishes no wedding page, but a venue marketplace lists the main lawn at roughly 10,000 sq ft for up to 500 guests in a cocktail format, and lists wedding ceremony, reception, mehendi and sangeet among supported events. A wedding here works best as a smaller celebration, or one in which the couple’s closest family takes the villas and other guests stay nearby. It is not the choice for a couple who wants every guest under one roof in a large group.
