Vijayran Palace Jaipur

The Vijayran Palace is a heritage-style resort at Kukas on the Delhi–Jaipur highway, about 34 km from Jaipur International Airport and set against the Aravalli hills. It has seven wedding spaces, including a front lawn the property lists for 1,000–1,500 guests, and roughly 35–40 rooms and villas, so larger weddings typically add rooms elsewhere.

ABOUT THE VIJAYRAN PALACE JAIPUR

A Heritage-Style Wedding Resort

Kukas sits on the northern edge of Jaipur, where the city gives way to the Aravalli foothills, and The Vijayran Palace uses that setting well. The property is built in Rajasthani haveli style: carved jharokhas, inner courtyards, fountain squares and wide lawns, with hill views as the backdrop for photographs. It is run by Royal Quest Resorts and feels more like a private estate than a city hotel. A travel feature on the property notes that the kitchen uses vegetables grown on its own farm and that the horses seen on the lawns are kept and trained on site.

For weddings, the appeal is range. The same property gives you a 1,000-plus lawn for a main ceremony and reception, a stage-fronted garden for 400–500, and several smaller courtyards and fountain squares that suit mehendi, haldi and family functions. The resort says it handles Hindu, Christian and nikaah ceremonies, and offers an on-request Rajasthani cultural programme (folk music, folk dance and Ghoomar) for wedding guests. It has also been used as a filming location, including for Netflix productions, and was featured as a real-wedding venue on WeddingSutra.

The trade-off is distance and inventory. Kukas is a drive from central Jaipur and from the airport, and the on-site room count is modest next to the size of its lawns. For a couple who wants a large, open-air, multi-function wedding in one compound and is comfortable arranging extra rooms nearby, it is a strong option. For a couple who wants every guest under one roof, it is not.

The property publishes one capacity range per space and does not split seated from floating numbers. Treat the upper figure as a standing or floating maximum and confirm seated capacity for any specific layout. “Best For” suggestions are planning guidance from The Event Designer, not property claims.

Rooms & Suites at The Vijayran PalaceJaipur

Accommodation is organised into six haveli-style categories, from standard rooms to private-pool villas. The property lists the following:

  1. Presidential Villas – private pool and lawn, the top category and a natural fit for the couple’s family
  2. Terrace Haveli Suites – private terrace with evening views over the grounds
  3. Courtyard Haveli Suites – suite opening onto its own courtyard
  4. Balcony Haveli Suites – courtyard-style balcony space
  5. Jharoka Haveli Suites – suites built around carved jharokhas
  6. Haveli Rooms – entry category, available with twin or king bed

Room counts are the main planning constraint. Listing sources put the property at roughly 35-40 rooms and villas, which is small next to its lawn capacity. For most weddings above about 80–100 staying guests, we would plan on blocking the main family and VIP rooms here and arranging additional rooms at nearby properties, with transfers.

FAQ's

Here are some of the most common ones our couples ask before beginning their journey with The Event Designer.

You Asked, We Answered

Up to 1,000–1,500 guests on its front lawn, Vijayran Mahal Bagh, according to the property. Its other six spaces range from 100 to 500 guests, so a wedding can be split across spaces by function. Seated and floating capacities are not published separately, so confirm your layout with the venue.

The property does not publish wedding pricing, and costs depend on guest count, number of functions, décor and menu. Contact The Event Designer for a quote built around your guest list and dates rather than relying on generic Jaipur averages.

About 34 km from Jaipur International Airport, and roughly 27 km from Jaipur Junction railway station. Travel time depends on traffic, and Travelocity lists about 70 minutes from the airport, so plan guest transfers accordingly. The resort offers airport transfers on request.

Roughly 35–40 rooms and villas, depending on the source, across six haveli-style categories including Presidential Villas with private pools. That is small relative to the lawn capacity, so larger weddings usually arrange additional rooms at nearby hotels.

October to March, when Jaipur's weather is cooler and outdoor lawn events are most comfortable. These are also the busiest wedding months, so dates fill early. Summer is hot, and monsoon (roughly July–September) is a risk for open-lawn events, though the Raj Mahal banquet gives an indoor option.

The resort provides in-house catering and décor, and one venue aggregator reports that outside decorators are allowed. Outside caterer policy is not confirmed, so check with the property before committing. Outside alcohol is reportedly allowed under the resort's policy, which should also be confirmed.

Yes for hosting, with a caveat on lodging. The lawn and seven spaces handle large guest counts and multi-day functions on one site, but the limited room count means you should plan an external room block and guest transfers from the start.
