ABOUT THE RADISSON HOTEL JODHPUR
Pure-Vegetarian Hotel
Radisson Hotel Jodhpur opened in 2018 as the first Radisson-branded hotel in the city, owned by Mahadev Heritage Hotels. It sits at 8 Residency Road, in the Air Force Area, a short drive from the airport, the Clock Tower and the old city. The building uses gold leaf, haveli-style carvings and a red-sandstone façade to echo Rajasthani palaces, but it is a contemporary city hotel rather than a historic property.
The defining feature for a wedding is the food policy. The hotel serves only vegetarian meals across its restaurants and events, which suits Jain, Marwari and many Vaishnav families and removes any question about separate kitchens. It also means couples who want non-vegetarian menus should look elsewhere. Two bars operate in the hotel, but you should confirm how alcohol is handled at wedding functions.
Practically, the hotel is a compact, central option. It has a lawn of about 1,325 sq m, three banquet halls (Utsav, Samaroh and Jashn), a rooftop and terrace spaces, an outdoor pool and a spa. Its limits are parking (35 spaces, closed to non-guests) and a room count of about a hundred, so larger weddings need a plan for cars and for lodging. It works best for couples who want a central, vegetarian, well-organised wedding of moderate size, with the airport and old city close at hand.

Rooms & Suites at Radisson Hotel Jodhpur
Radisson lists six room categories, all heritage-inspired:
- Superior Room – 28 m², king or twin
- Junior Suite – 56 m², king
- Deluxe Suite – 72 m², king
- One Bedroom Suite – 97 m², king
- Two Bedroom Duplex Suite – 105 m², two king beds, sleeps four adults
- Presidential Suite – 115 m², two king beds, sleeps four adults
The hotel does not publish how many rooms sit in each category or the total. Launch press gave 96 rooms and a marketplace listing says 101, so we describe it as roughly a hundred. That comfortably suits a family-and-close-friends group; larger weddings should plan an external room block with transfers.

FAQ's
Here are some of the most common ones our couples ask before beginning their journey with The Event Designer.

You Asked, We Answered
Yes. The hotel describes itself as pure vegetarian and serves only vegetarian meals, and a wedding marketplace listing says non-veg food is not allowed at its events. Couples who want a non-vegetarian menu should consider another venue. Confirm any exceptions, and the alcohol policy for banquets, with the hotel.
The hotel states a maximum event capacity of up to 700 guests, with the lawn (1,325 sq m) as the largest space. Marketplace listings give lower figures, such as about 550, and hall-level capacities vary by source. Confirm seated and floating numbers for your layout.
The hotel does not publish wedding pricing. A marketplace listing shows vegetarian menus from about ₹1,400 per plate, but total cost depends on guest count, menu, rooms and décor. The Event Designer can request a quote for your dates.
Radisson's attractions list puts Jodhpur Airport at about 2.3 km, and its text says less than three kilometres. Other sources give 2–4 km. Airport transfers are available. Umaid Bhawan Palace is about 2.5 km away and Mehrangarh Fort about 4 km.
About a hundred: launch press said 96 and a marketplace listing says 101, and the hotel does not publish a total. Rooms range from 28 sq m Superior rooms to a 115 sq m Presidential Suite. Larger weddings usually book additional rooms at nearby hotels.
Parking is limited. The hotel lists 35 spaces, says non-guests cannot use its parking, and sets a 3.04 m height limit. For a wedding, you would need to agree a parking, shuttle and baraat-access plan with the hotel in advance.
October to March, when the desert climate is cooler and lawn events are comfortable. These are also the busiest months, so book early. The hotel's air-conditioned halls offer an indoor option in hotter months.
