Wyndham Grand Udaipur is the newest name in the city’s wedding circuit, having opened its doors in December 2025. Built from the ground up between the Aravalli hills and Fateh Sagar Lake, it wears palace inspired architecture domes, chhatris, carved facades over a genuinely modern resort infrastructure and it makes one claim none of Udaipur’s other big name hotels can: it’s India’s first international pure-vegetarian luxury resort. Every kitchen across every function serves vegetarian only, which removes a recurring concern for many Jain, Marwadi and Gujarati families before it’s even raised.
Being this new also means being this flexible. Rather than working around a centuries old floor plan, the resort was designed specifically to host large scale celebrations from day one vast lawns, a stepped amphitheatre, rooftop terraces and a full indoor banquet hall, each built to carry a different function without needing to double up.
