Sahil co-founded The Event Designer with Nishita Aggarwal. From the start, his attention has gone to the parts of a wedding that families rarely see but always feel the right venue on the right terms, a supplier team that works as one, and a schedule that holds once guests begin to arrive.
He is usually the first detailed conversation a family has with us, helping them weigh destinations and venues against guest numbers, travel and budget. He negotiates with hotels and suppliers, structures the budget, and oversees logistics, production and the on-site team. His aim is simple: what is agreed in planning is what happens on the day.
What Sahil Leads
For most families, Sahil is the first detailed conversation. He helps them weigh destinations and venues against guest numbers, travel, budget and the ceremonies they want to keep. He then leads negotiations with hotels on room blocks, function spaces, food and beverage, and contract terms, so that the commercial structure of the wedding is settled before design begins.
Once a plan is agreed, he oversees supplier coordination, guest logistics, entertainment and production, and the on-site team that brings each event to life. His role is to make sure that what was promised in the planning room is exactly what happens on the day.
Working With Families
Sahil believes families should understand where their budget is going and why. He sets out the trade-offs early: which venue suits the size and style of the celebration, where there is room for flexibility, and which decisions carry the most risk to the guest experience. That clarity gives Nishita and the design team the freedom to create within a plan that is sound.
